The Gunsmoke Cobra was given to me by a friend of mine that worked at a local bowling alley. I asked him one time if he had any good balls sitting around in the back that someone had left there. He told me that there was some ball called the Cobra or something like that. I imediately said I'll take it, just assuming that it was a black Cobra because Gunsmokes a few and far between around here. But I then I asked him, is it black. And he said ya I think so. So I decided that I'd take it anyway because I will never turn down a free AMF ball, especially a Cobra. I went to pick it up from him and before he gave it to me he told me that he was wrong, it was like grey and swirled. I yelled, "A Gunsmoke Cobra?" He was like whatever and gave it to me. I couldn't believe it. I was so happy. I had been looking for one of those ever since AMF stopped producing them. It was drilled left handed but that didn't stop me from using it. It was the perfect addition to my collection, a rare ball, and a classic. I still carry it with me wherever I go. I use it soley for 10 pin shots. It works perfect.
